Steven K. Budd, Chief Executive Officer
Steven is a twenty-five year veteran of the pharmaceutical industry with a wide range of experience in sales, marketing and medical communications. He has been involved in the outsourced sales industry since its formative years and is a respected expert on US Healthcare outsourcing trends. Prior to joining IMC he spent 11 years at PDI, serving as President since 2000. At PDI he helped vault the company to a leadership position in providing sales and marketing services to the bio-pharmaceutical industry, at its peak achieving revenues in excess of $400 million with four thousand employees and a market valuation of over $1 billion. Before joining PDI, Steve held senior level positions at PDN (now the Professional Sales Division of Publicis) and Innovex, Inc. He began his career as a pharmaceutical sales rep in 1980 and held mid-to senior-level sales management positions before moving over to the service side of the industry in 1990. Mr. Budd received a B.A. in History and Education from Susquehanna University in 1978.

Carole Gins, President
Carole Gins joined IMC in 2011 as President. Formerly, as General Manager of IC Axon, Carole was responsible for overseeing the smooth functioning of the entire company, as well as building its success by increasing revenue, sales and profitability. To fulfill her role managing a Canadian-based company that serviced a US-based clientele, Carole performed a multitude of tasks. Her responsibilities included overseeing the Directors of Operations and Content, managing Canadian-based production teams with a US-based sales team, while regularly working collaboratively with these teams to create and implement innovative solutions. Carole also actively managed client expectations, ensuring consistent solution implementation and played a key leadership role in handling challenging project issues.

Before joining IC Axon in 2005, Carole Gins managed complex eLearning applications and web-based HR systems from inception to completion. She has also served as Web Production Manager, managing development of websites and multimedia CD-ROMs. Carole has significant expertise in training, project management, and processes re-engineering. Her focus lies primarily in the pharmaceutical and food industries, as well as communication and marketing services.

Carole holds a degree in Applied Sciences, a degree in multimedia techniques, a Masters in international business, is a certified Project Management Professional, and holds an executive MBA from McGill-HEC Montreal.

John Decina, Senior Vice President, Business Development
John has been in the healthcare communications industry for over 20 years assisting clients that span from Pharmaceuticals to Biotech to Diagnostics and Devices to Managed Care Organizations with strategic communications designed to achieve brand objectives. John has worked in-depth on many brands across numerous therapeutic areas including infectious disease, metabolic disease, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, respiratory, oncology and numerous rare diseases. Expertise in designing innovative tactical engagement plans that bring value to healthcare providers while effectively delivering brand messaging has allowed John to assist his clients in achieving their brand objectives. John looks to apply new technologies and solutions to healthcare communications and is well versed in the unique aspects of pharmaceutical marketing and communications. Strategic vision and action planning are John’s core competencies and he is frequently involved in planning sessions for clients and partners. John received his B.S. in Geophysics from the University of Connecticut.

Ken LoCicero , Senior Vice President, Client Services
Over the last 14 years, Ken has demonstrated a proven background in efficiency strategies for marketing pharmaceutical and biotech products, high caliber leadership with account executive teams, and extensive client relationship building across 50 brand campaigns/partnerships and over 30 companies in the pharma/biotech space. He and his account executive team are masters at the critical partnership with marketing teams to grow product share through integrated communication strategies and the power of true peer dialogue. Rising from the ranks of Moderator – the backbone of IMC’s dialogue philosophy -- Ken and his team formally organized an in-house development & training department for the Moderator Talent team, an analytics group and numerous innovative programming formats. Ken holds an M.S. and Ph.D. in Counselor Education from Georgia State University and a B.S. in Business Administration from Western Carolina University.

Jaime Nguyen, Medical Director/Compliance Officer
Jaime was appointed to this position following two years of distinguished service as a moderator on numerous IMC programs.  Jaime holds an MD from MSIH and Columbia University Medical Center , an MPH from the University of Pittsburgh , and an MS in Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacology from the University of Toledo .  Additionally, Jaime is a certified Pharmaceutical, Biotech and Medical Device Compliance Officer.  Prior to joining IMC in 2006, Jaime had over 10 years of experience in the areas of pharmacology and drug design, medicine and public health, and healthcare analysis.  She also held numerous international clinical leadership roles across multiple therapeutic areas and served on two federal advisory committees while working for the Department of Health and Human Services. 

Raghu Raghunath, Vice President, Information Technology
Raghu brings a wealth of business technology experience to Informed Medical Communications, having spent the past seven years leading initiatives within the US Business Technology group at Pfizer, Inc. In that position, he managed the implementation of technology solutions to achieve sales, marketing, and medical objectives, including those in support of key opinion leaders and medical communications strategy. Prior to Pfizer, Raghu held positions with Proxicom and Deloitte Consulting where he focused on technology strategy, business analysis and project management. Raghu holds an M.S. in aerospace engineering from Virginia Tech, a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Miami and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
