INFORMED MEDICAL COMMUNICATIONS HIRES NEW VICE PRESIDENT OF MARKETING
Edison, NJ - May 12, 2008 - Informed Medical Communications
(IMC), a leading provider of peer-to-peer medical forums for the bio-pharmaceutical
industry, today announced the appointment of Scott Stoogenke, as Vice President,
Marketing. In this role, Stoogenke will develop and implement marketing strategies
for Peer Group, RxDialogue and IMC with the objective to maintain and grow IMC’s
leadership position in the industry.
Stoogenke joins IMC with over 15 years of life sciences marketing experience, including
pharmaceutical brand management and service provider marketing leadership. Most
recently, he worked for Covance, Inc. as Director of Corporate Marketing, managing
the corporate branding initiative, conferences, e-marketing, and marketing communications.
Previously, he worked for PDI, Inc. as Executive Director of Marketing, providing
strategic corporate marketing and business development support. His experience also
includes a breadth of marketing roles at GlaxoSmithKline and Novo Nordisk, including
product management, market research, forecasting, competitive intelligence, managed
care marketing, and pipeline development in multiple therapeutic areas.
In addition to his work experience, Stoogenke holds an MBA in marketing/international
business from the University of Maryland Smith School of Business, an MA in education/human
development from the George Washington University, and a BS in biochemistry/molecular
biology from the University of Maryland.
