INFORMED MEDICAL COMMUNICATIONS APPOINTS NEW VICE PRESIDENT, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Edison, NJ - February 9, 2009 - Informed Medical Communications (IMC), a leading provider of peer-to-peer medical forums for the bio-pharmaceutical industry, today announced the appointment of Raghu Raghunath to the position of Vice President, Information Technology. This key addition to the executive team is consistent with IMC’s ongoing focus on providing innovative and technologically advanced solutions for its clients.
Raghu brings a wealth of business technology experience to this role, having spent the past seven years leading initiatives within the US Business Technology group at Pfizer, Inc. In that position, he managed the implementation of technology solutions to achieve sales, marketing, and medical objectives, including those in support of key opinion leaders and medical communications strategy. Prior to Pfizer, Raghu held positions with Proxicom and Deloitte Consulting where he focused on technology strategy, business analysis and project management. Raghu holds an M.S. in aerospace engineering from Virginia Tech, a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Miami and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
